One of the rare times an injury replacement finds a spot on the weekly team, Erik Kratz played well behind the plate and made lots of contact this week.
1B - Jared Walsh, QC - 5-16, 1 HR, 1 3B, 1 2B, 2 RBI, 6 R, 5 BB, 1-2 X-Ch, 186 ODA+
Abreu (171) and Freeman (162) game him a run for his money, but Walsh earned the first base spot this week with a .476 OBP
2B - Adam Frazier, WWW - 6-15, 1 HR, 1 2B, 1 RBI, 4 R, 3 BB, 7-7 X-Ch, 189 ODA+
Ten total bases, five runs produced, and a perfect defensive week propelled Frazier into top second base spot.
3B - Phillip Evans, VA - 7-19, 3 2B, 3 RBI, 4 R, 2 BB, 0-1 X-Ch, 158 ODA+
Evans started two of his four games at third earning the eligibility on a technicality. He earned this top spot fair and square, though, with a very productive week at the plate and only fouling up one check.
SS - Fernando Tatis Jr, LMM - 7-17, 2 HR, 1 3B, 1 2B, 3 RBI, 6 R, 5-5 X-Ch, 207 ODA+
Tatis had a monster week against the Questants with 16 total bases and a perfect defensive week.
LF - Jurickson Profar, FF - 7-14, 3 HR, 4 RBI, 6 R, 2 BB, 5-5 X-Ch, 193 ODA+
Three of his seven hits were over the fence and he was perfect in the field. Profar couldn't have done much more for the Flamingos this week.
CF - Jackie Bradley Jr, WWW - 8-16, 3 2B, 4 RBI, 4 R, 2 BB, 2-2 X-Ch, 206 ODA+
Bradley blew away the competition in center field this week with a .500 average and eight runs produced.
RF - Whit Merrifield, WWW - 5-17, 2 HR, 7 RBI, 3 R, 1 BB, 1-1 X-Ch, 151 ODA+
The fourth Wonderwolf to make the team, Whit had a decent week at the plate and the benefit of a slow week in right field.
*DH - Sam Huff, MKE - 10-15, 2 HR, 4 2B, 11 RBI, 4 R, 1 BB, 237 ODA+
With the highest single-week ODA+ score on record, Sam Huff slugged a cool 1.333 this week and single-handedly won game 3 for the Bovines.
P #1 - Shane Bieber, TK - 8.0 IP, 0 R, 6 H, 14 SO, 271 DOM+
Bieber's WHIP was "elevated" at 1.00 this week, but you can't ask for much more than eight shutout innings.
P #2 - Yu Darvish, SPP - 7.0 IP, 0 R, 3 H, 11 SO, 245 DOM+
Darvish held down the explosive Zephyr offense for seven innnings en route to a 3-1 Parrots win.
P #3 - Jack Flaherty, FF - 6.0 IP, 0 R, 3 H, 10 SO, 216 DOM+
With only one run of support (a solo homer), Flaherty earned the win with six shutout innings.
P #4 - Cristian Javier, VA - 6.0 IP, 0 ER (4 R), 4 H, 12 SO, 215 DOM+
The Angels exploded for eleven runs in game 4 this week making up for the 4 unearned runs they gave up behind Javier.
P #5 - Trevor Cahill, DEN - 5.0 IP, 0 R, 1 H, 8 SO, 202 DOM+
Cahill had a short outing in week 8, but made the most of it only allowing two baserunners and striking out 8.
