Weekly All-Star Team - Week 3

Cal's take on an All-Star team based on week 3 performances.

C - Max Stassi, GLA - 6-16, 1 HR, 1 2B, 1 RBI, 5 R
Stassi had a solid week against Yukon this week slugging a cool .625. It was a close week with SPP's Casali and WV's Realmuto right on his tail.

1B - Luke Voit, FF - 8-16, 2 HR, 1 2B, 5 RBI, 4 R
First base was a tight race between Jose Abreu and Luke Voit. Both men batted .500, but Voit's power propelled him into the weekly All-Star team.

2B - Jurickson Profar, FF - 4-13, 1 HR, 1 3B, 1 2B, 3 RBI, 4 R
Another Flamingo, Jurickson Profar had a weekly weekly cycle with exactly one of each base hit good for 7 runs produced.

3B - Jose Ramirez, GLA - 5-14, 3 HR, 1 2B, 8 RBI, 4 R
Apparently the Unicorns and Flamingos were the only teams playing this week because JRam blew away the competition this week 15 total bases for his first weekly all-star team.

SS - Trea Turner, WV - 6-14, 2 HR, 1 2B, 5 RBI, 5 R
Trea becomes the first back-to-back shortstop among weekly all-stars. He produced 10 runs for the Black Bears in their series win vs the Jaggers.

LF - Eloy Jimenez, WV, 5-17, 3 HR, 1 2B, 5 RBI, 5 R
Mark Canha gave him a run for his money, but Eloy showed off the power this week with three home runs putting him at the top of left fielders this week.

CF - Kyle Lewis, FF - 8-18, 3 HR, 1 2B, 7 RBI, 5 R
The third Flamingo to make the team, Kyle Lewis slugged 1.000 this week in support of Florida's sweep of  the Birds of War.

RF - Juan Soto, TK - 3-10, 2 HR, 4 RBI, 4 R
It's a bitter-sweet victory for Soto who makes his final weekly all-star team until at least week 8 when he returns from injury.

DH - Brent Rooker, LV - 4-12, 1 HR, 2 2B, 1 RBI, 4 R
Rooker took the DH spot this week with a beating out WV's Yan Gomes with 1/1000th of a point. Rooker didn't match Gomes' home runs, but eeked out the victory with a .333 average and .524 wOBA.

P #1 - Gerrit Cole, WWW - 8.0 IP, 1 R, 4 H, 11 SO
The Wichita offense cost Cole his first win of the season. He pitched eight excellent innings of one-run ball, but takes the no decision.

Mayers earned two saves this week against the Parrots with six shutout innings.

You read that right: Dane Dunning tossed five no-hit innings for the Bandits before being pulled in the 2-0 victory of the Snow Geese.

P #4 - Brandon Woodruff, LV - 6.0 IP, 1 W, 0 R, 4 H, 6 SO
The second Bandit in the top five, Brandon Woodruff earns the fourth spot with six shutout innings.

Rounding out the top five, Masahiro Tanaka got the W for his six scoreless innings against the Unicorns.
