Cal's take on an All-Star team based on week 11 performances.
C - Salvador Perez, WWW - 7-19, 2 HR, 1 3B, 2 2B, 4 RBI, 4 R, 3-3 X-Ch, 50% CS, 197 ODA+
Salvy did it all for the WonderWolves this week. Five extra base hits, made all three of his x-checks and even threw out a runner.
1B - Freddie Freeman, LV - 4-12, 3 2B, 5 R, 6 BB, 1 HBP, 3-3 X-Ch, 216 ODA+
Frederick was a menace to Black Bear pitching this week. He walked six times and three of his four hits went for extra bases. Walsh hit dingers, but couldn't keep up with Freeman in the overall metric.
2B - Joey Wendle, GLA - 4-15, 2 2B, 1 RBI, 2 R, 6-6 X-Ch, 196 ODA+
Was Wendle on your radar for hot second baseman? Not mine, but he had a great series against the Kaiju.
3B - KeBryan Hayes, SPP - 7-16, 2 HR, 1 2B, 3 RBI, 4 R, 3-4 X-Ch, 170 ODA+
I almost forgot this guy existed - I guess he's pretty good. We finally saw the performance we expected out of him this week with three extra base hits.
SS - Trevor Story, TK - 4-14, 1 3B, 1 2B, 2 RBI, 1 R, 4-4 X-Ch, 145 ODA+
It was a tight race with Arcia who was edged out by a single ODA+ point. Story had one more XBH and X-Ch which put him over the edge.
LF - Franmil Reyes, TK - 7-11, 2 HR, 1 2B, 4 RBI, 3 R, 0-3, 144 ODA+
He is the bane of his manager's existence and literally cost the Kaiju a win last week, but hot damn did he slap at the plate.
CF - Mike Trout, JJG - 6-17, 4 HR, 1 2B, 4 RBI, 9 R, 183 ODA+
He didn't get checked in the outfield once, but still ran away with center field this week. Hicks put up a fight, but Trout's .632 wOBA dominated.
*RF - Whit Merrifield, WWW - 7-15, 1 HR, 4 2B, 3 RBI, 6 R, 2-2 X-Ch, 220 ODA+
Whit had himself a week with nine runs produced and a perfect 2-2 in right.
DH - Donovan Solano, SBB - 7-19, 2 HR, 2 2B, 8 RBI, 3 R, 176 ODA+
It was an uncharacteristic week for the Black Birds not splitting a series. It was in no small part due to a huge week by Donovan Solano. He produced 11 runs and slugged .789 for the ski bois.
P #1 - Trevor Bauer, QC - 8.0 IP, 0 R, 4 H, 11 SO, 246 DOM+
No one is surprised to see Bauer on the list, but this man hasn't given up a run since week nine! This is just unfair.
P #2 - Kevin Gausman, LMM - 6.0 IP, 1 R (0 ER), 4 H, 11 SO, 224 DOM+
The Monterrey swing man had another fine week despite his defense letting him down once. He matched Bauer's counting stats in two fewer innings.
P #3 - Aaron Nola, FF - 8.0 IP, 4 R, 5 H, 17 SO, 219 DOM+
Well this is likely the most runs surrendered to make the list, but hot damn those strikeouts for Nola were juicy.
P #4 - Tony Gonsolin, LV - 7.0 IP, 0 R, 3 H, 9 SO, 213 DOM+
In addition to allowing only 3 hits, Gonsolin didn't walk a batter this week, either. It was seven fantastic innings en route to the W.
P #5 - German Marquez, SPP - 7.0 IP, 0 R, 2 H, 7 SO, 189 DOM+
Marquez hay be lower on the top-5, but he out-dueled Nola for the win this week with seven shutout innings.
