SBa Top 10 - s08w04
10. Rizzo Salami

First up we've got another Rizzo highlight. This time it's game three in Milwaukee. Bases are juiced with two down and Rizzo elevates a breaking ball! It's hit high down the right field line. Suzuki is back at the track, at the wall, it's gone!
Bovines would go on to win 5-2.
9. Dansby Ties it in the 8th

Our next play this weeks comes from game 2 in Nashville. The Gators trailed 1-0 in the bottom of the 8th. None other than month 1 All-Star SS, Dansby Swanson, digs in to face Jovani Moran and crushes a no-doubter to left-center field! The outfielders give it a courtesy turn, but that ball is way outta here!
Gators would go on to win 3-1.
8. Some MF Named Randy

Flash forward two games and Gators and Shoebills are tied in the ninth. Jason Adam is in for Nashville. Randy Arozarena comes to the plate with Jose Abreu on first and two outs. After getting ahead in the count, Adam goes upstairs and Arozarena goes up to get it! He drives it down the right field line! Abreu lumbers around the basepaths with Randy hot on his tail. Abreu rounds third and slides in safely at home to walk it off for Kampala!
Shoebills win 4-3.
7. Rosario Climbs the Mountain

Play number eight takes us to Dallas for game 1 between the Drillers and Angels. It is the top of the ninth with the game tied at 7. Amed Rosario digs in with two outs and a runner on second. All he needs is a bloop to take the lead - instead he hits a piss missile out to center field to give the Vatican a 9-7 lead!
Angels would go on to win 11-9
6. Garcia Sees a Ghost

Play number 6 will be our first look at game 3 between West Virginia and Denver. It's the top of the tenth, tied at 3, and Luis V Garcia wastes no time against reliever, Scott Effross. He crushes a grounder to the left side that is just out of Hoerner's reach and it will plate the ghost runner!
We'll return to Denver in just a few plays...
5. Judge Stays Hot

Let's check in with Waikiki visiting Hamburg. It's the top of the eighth, tied at 2, and Judge steps into the box with a runner first. The Honebees went to Jake Woodford to keep the game tied, but Judge said nah. He demolishes a no-doubt home run to dead center field to break the tie!
Whale Sharks would go on to win 6-4.
4. Chappy Tees Off

Hamburg flips the script on Waikiki in play number 4. Honeybees trail 2-1 as Matt Chapman digs in against Charlie Morton in the top of the fourth. With runners on first and second, Chappy tees off on a Morton curve ball and deposits that one into the left field bleachers!
Honeybees would go on to win 7-3.
3. Pujols Extends Extras

We return to Denver and it's the bottom of the tenth now; two on and two away, Denver trails by 3. Zach Jackson tries to put the game away, but grandpa Pujols says this one isn't over yet. He hits a high drive to left field that will soar into the Denver night sky tying the game at 6 and forcing an eleventh inning.
Black Bears would go on to win 7-6.
2. Stowers Pads the Lead

We join Philadelphia in the top of the seventh as future legend, Kyle Stowers, steps into the box with the bases loaded. The Phantoms already lead the Kaiju 3-2 then Stowers slaps a liner back up the middle! Davis scores from third, McJeff rounds third and scores from second and the Phantoms do not look back.
Phantoms would go on to win 7-5.
1. JT Saves the Day

Our top play of the week comes from Prince Edward Island. Milwaukee's Pete Fairbanks is in some hot water with the tying run on third and the go-ahead run on second. He can secure the save by retiring JT Realmuto, but the Mussels' catcher muscles an inside fastball into the gap in left! That one gets down and both runs will score!
Mussels would go on to win 7-6.
