FWA Week 16 Update

For the first time all season, a player has earned an FWA Player of the Week award for a second time, and Yordan Alvarez has achieved this by going back to back weeks. Dude has been on a tear.

Jose Quintana earns the Pitcher of the Week award with a surprising 8 shutout innings, and the first FWA pitcher award for SHA this season.

Christian Walker played well enough to earn a PotW in almost any other week this season, but Yordan was an unstoppable force.

Hey - remember when I said just last week that Soto had such a commanding lead that he probably wasn't going to get caught? Yeah, that aged like milk.

Wasn't Miles Mikolas a first round pick? Let this be a lesson to everyone: you can absolutely bungle your 1st round pick and still put together a playoff team. Just look at the Kaiju!

Unless something really, really weird happens, Nashville and Tokyo will clinch a playoff spot this week. The Ham Fighters are likely to be wiped out of contention this week, too.
