FWA Week 14 Update
It's that time again. Only 16 games remain on everyone's schedule. We're into the stretch run, people! Buckle in!

Manny Machado had a nice week by getting on base a ridiculous 13 times. Not a lot of production in terms of xbh, but the sheer number of times of base earns Manny the weekly award.
Marcus Stroman is a bully and I refuse to talk about it.

Bask in the glory that are the honorable mentions. Legends of the game such as Francisco Lindor, Shohei Ohtani, Jose Altuve... and Kolten Wong.

A new #1 for the position players as Jose Altuve jumps to the top of the board with a week worthy of honorable mention. As we head down the final stretch, it's time to start thinking about potential MVPs. Could the Small Man Who Can put his name into the conversation? Dansby Swanson has been leading for most of the season, but he falls to #3 on the list. Are his MVP dreams hanging by a thread? Tune in next week to find out what happens!
Spencer "I-have-a-mustache-look-at-me" Strider continues to be really good on the pitcher side and he is now the #1 overall player, as well. Fun note: Ohtani is now officially a negative FWA hitter. The Ohtani Curse is still half alive.

Honestly I'm getting a little bored of talking about Corey Seager, so let's randomly focus on another embarrasingly bad hitter: Ha Seong Kim. Dude is a top 10 fielder in the league and still manages to land in the bottom 10 of position players overall. He is bad.
Craig Kimbrel continues to be the king of shit mountain, and despite Brian's best efforts, he will continue to pitch for HAM after the trade deadline. Also, there's Stroman. I'm so glad my team decided to let him pitch 7+ perfect innings against me. sigh I promised I wouldn't talk about it.

Now we leave the world of FWA behind and venture into the unknown world of Foxx's weird projections. Some things of note:
- TK and NSH are now essentially tied for the #1 seed, but NSH made some deadline moves and TK stood pat. It'll be interesting to see how that plays out.
- CHC is now expected to be the #5 seed, passing PEI who had a rough week against DAL, who are right back in the mix.
- The final playoff spot is more or less a 4 way tie now. VA has the advantage with a fractional lead over WAI, CLS, and MKE.

Last one before we wrap it up this week. NSH and TK could be looking to clinch a playoff spot in week 16. HAM is on the verge of being eliminated for everything except the final playoff spot, and that could happen next week, too. womp womp
Since I was mean last week, this week I'll be nice. Thank you for reading all the way to the end. I really appreciate your support. I couldn't do it without my fans. Smash that like button.
