foxxWAR Week 9 Update

Your weekly dose and Foxx analysis jammed straight into your veins.

Did you hear? Spencer Strider pitched a no-hitter. How cool is that? .76 WAR is a very, very high mark for a pitching performance.

Jose Altuve takes Hitter of the Week with a stupid .85 WAR. Luckily for him, he gets to play in more than 1 game per week. So his 4 bombs, .611 OBP, and 8/9 x-checks makes him a more impactful player than a no-hitter.

It's Darvish again! That man is so hot right now. Surely the only better pitching performance this week didn't happen in the same game that Darvish pitched. Surely.

Shohei still the only player over 2.00 WAR combined, and finds himself in the top spot for all pitchers. I think it's safe to say he's broken his Strat curse.

Fun little note is Miguel Rojas cracking the top 10 defenders list with only like 3 weeks on the roster, and unfortunately (for him) he's already off the roster. Thanks for your service. The Zephyr have moved on to our 3rd starting SS of the season.

Corey Seager bad, but not as bad as Craig Kimbrel who is single-handedly carrying the Fighting Hams to the worst record in the league.
