foxxWAR Week 7 Update

Let's take a look at the current foxxWAR situation around SBa!

Players of the week are Carlos Correa with a disgusting .76 WAR. Incredible week at the plate, and 6 for 6 on x-checks! That ankle seems fine to me. Corbin Burnes pulls in the last minute Pitcher of the Week honors, narrowly knocking Framber Valdez off the top spot. Only 6 Ks in Corbin's outing, but throwing 9 innings will usually do the trick.

Matt Carpenter does good things and I hate Adolis Garcia. Dude did everything against me last week. Homers, steals, defensive gems. Get him away from me. Framber Valdez was going to be the first 2-time PotW this season until Corbin Burnes showed up in game 32 of 32 this week. Tough scene. Nice to see Logan Webb and Yu Darvish both doing well, two players that were basically traded for each other in a roundabout way. Also, fun story because I only care about myself: Webb, Darvish, and Nola are all current or former Zephyrs.

For the overall totals, Taylor Ward continues to hold onto the top spot for position players. What's this? The Kaiju are hoarding top 10 spots. Rude, honestly. Meanwhile, yellow/oranges teams control a big portion of the pitcher top 10 list. Triston McKenzie has fallen from his top spot all the way to 9 after just 2 weeks.
